Synopsis

The entire region is in the midst of a heat wave; the flowers have all dried out and pollen has become scarce.

Dizz is a little bee whose wife, Nea, is expecting. And Dizz, who doesn’t have much confidence in himself, cannot find enough pollen to feed his future children.

Ozz is the head of a gang of pirates whose only goal is to enrich themselves by accumulating pollen. He knows that a huge stash of pollen exists nearby – but it is stored in a labyrinth which is guarded by a wise Flower; this Flower knows the truth of all that is and only shows the way to those who are really in need.

If Ozz tried to go into the labyrinth, he would surely get lost and die of starvation, and it is out of the question that the Flower would show him the way. His only solution is to push Dizz to such extremes that his only hope for salvation lies in the Flower, and to follow him as he enters the Labyrinth.
